About
DENA SEIFERLING is a Canadian illustrator who writes and illustrates children’s books with a soft spot for animals and nature. She graduated with a BFA from AuArts where she later taught (continues to teach) as an instructor. Her mediums include mainly drawing with graphite as well as digitally and needle-felted sculpture. She is working on her second solo sculpture exhibition taking place later this year in LA. Dena’s recent illustration work in Night Lunch, written by Eric Fan, received a Best Illustrated Children’s Book of the Year award from the New York Times and New York Public Library.
